FINDING THE BRILLIANCE WITHIN

Aberdour School

WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL

Founded in 1933, Aberdour is a thriving and extremely successful independent preparatory day school for boys and girls aged 2 to 13 years. The School is comprised of our Nursery and Transition classes (ages 2-5), a Pre-Preparatory Department (ages 5-7) and the Preparatory, or Senior, School (ages 7-13).

Aberdour is set in twelve acres of beautiful Surrey parkland and is conveniently located, being only sixteen miles from central London. It has many impressive facilities including a large Sports Hall, indoor Swimming Pool, two purpose-built Science Laboratories, all-weather pitches, courts and wickets, libraries and two IT suites. The School is fortunate to have a fully equipped sick bay, run by qualified nursing staff.

We aim to develop the potential of each and every child within a caring and supportive community, with all pupils benefiting from small classes and highly qualified staff. Our pupils gain many awards to some of the finest schools in the Country. Aberdour’s excellence extends through art, music, drama and sport, and many pupils have achieved great success in these areas.

Community spirit and a sense of belonging is fostered among the pupils.  Aberdour has a strong and very supportive Parents’ Association.
