Parents making an initial enquiry about the School will be sent an invitation to visit the School in person. You can visit the School either on one of our Open Mornings or by appointment. You will have a tour of the School and meet the Headmaster, staff and the pupils.
In order to confirm your interest in enrolling a child at the School, parents are required to complete and submit a Registration Form together with a non-refundable Registration Fee of £50.00.
All children joining the School are invited to attend an Assessment Day. However, the admission process varies depending on the age of the child.
Pre-Prep (Nursery – Year 2)
Pupils joining Pre-Prep do so on a non-selective basis: there are no admission tests. However, observations and assessments take place during the initial visit. On this day, parents will be required to supply a copy of the most recent school reports.
Senior School (Years 3 – 8)
Pupils seeking entry to the Senior School (Years 3 to 8) must satisfy the School's Admissions Procedure and will be required to sit assessments. For entry into Year 3, pupils will sit assessments in reading, writing and mathematics and for entry into Years 4 – 8 these assessments will be in mathematics and verbal reasoning. These will take place during the course of their Assessment Day and, if a place is offered and taken up, the results will be used for setting purposes. On this day, parents will be required to supply a copy of the most recent school reports.
Offer of A Place
If a formal offer of a place is made, the School will write to parents enclosing an Acceptance Form for completion and requesting payment of an Acceptance Deposit. If the School is unable to offer a place to an eligible candidate for the requested date of entry, they may be offered a place on a waiting list.
Confirmation of A Place
The place will not be secured until the parents have completed, signed and return the Acceptance Form and paid the Acceptance Deposit. The Acceptance Deposit is £400.00. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, the Acceptance Deposit will be held until the pupil leaves the School, when a refund will be made in the final term or used against any outstanding balance on the fee account.
A letter confirming receipt of the Acceptance Form and payment of the Deposit will then be sent to parents.
An Induction Information Pack will then be sent to parents nearer to the date of entry.
